Pet Chick: Pet in CS2
The Pet Chick is the first stage of a pet chicken in Counter-Strike 2. It hatches from a Chicken Egg, an item added with the Rush Hour update on 22 September 2026.
What It Does
The chick is yellow and lives in the main menu. Players can inspect it, pet it and give it a name. Only one pet can be kept at a time.
How It Grows
The chick grows into a pullet, which reveals its breed and colour, and then into an adult hen. The three breeds are Catalana, Polish and Silkie. Chicken Feed keeps the pet around for longer.
Rarity and Trading
