Chicken Feed: Pet Item in CS2
Chicken Feed is the item that keeps a pet chicken in Counter-Strike 2. Its in-game description reads: “Feed your pet to keep it around.” It came to the game with the Rush Hour update on 22 September 2026, together with the Chicken Egg.
Where It Comes From
Chicken Feed drops from the Weekly Care Package, the weekly reward for levelling up in matches. It is not sold in the in-game store.
What It Does
Chicken Feed is used on a pet that has already hatched, from the Pet Chick stage onwards. Feeding keeps the chicken with the player for longer. Valve has not published how much time one bag adds.
Trading
